I've never rigged with anything but arborplex and am in the market for trying a better line out now. I get my kernmaster climbing line with a sewn eye to keep it from milking, do I need to do the same for rigging lines or do they not milk?

Milking isnt a bad thing necessarily. Using your sewn eye to stop any cover milking may cause bunching of the cover over the core.
With most new ropes I hook one end to a tree or truck and tie on a prusik, hook to my saddle and walk backwards with as much of my weight in the line as I can get. Do this 2-3 times and you will get almost all the cover slack out on most ropes.
As was said previously, solid braids don't milk, as well as samson arbormaster which is a 16 strand amd makes a killer light rigging line.
