Saddle Sizing

I recently upgraded from a Weaver wide back to a Buckingham Rebellion and am wondering if I purchased the correct size. I really don't know how the leg straps should fit, should they be snug or loose? I'm assuming they will tighten up when I am hanging on a rope? I've been trying to find adjustments that are both comfortable and are similar to how the saddle fits on the modeling photos as well as following the directions on the instruction manual that came with it. Any advice on sizing would be greatly appreciated.

While wearing it with no tools on the harness, the leg straps should be as loose as you pant legs. Wearing them too tight kills circulation when your on your lifeline
