Shindaiwa 357 your opinions??

What do you think of this saw?? I currently pack my 034 on my ATV but find it a bit big. My neighbor has offered me a 357 as new for $120. I think it would be ideal on the ATV. Any thoughts. Most of my cutting in the bush is less than 12".

You can't beat it for $120. I think there are better top handle choices when buying new, but at that price, there is no contest. The 357 is robust and will serve you well for many years...go get it!

I think the Shinies are a bi heavey for what they are power wise, but I don't think there is a more solid built saw on th market!!! That saw sounds close to ideal for you,and for that money I would call you a fool for not buying it!!!!

I think I will pick it up.
The weight wont be a problem as it wont get used much, and could be handy at home.
Quite often the ATV trails have overhead brush to clear..
