I am looking at getting a stihl 019t but it has no compression. What is this worth, and how expensive would it be to repair?

If you can find the parts, you could put a couple hundred in it and have a hundred dollar saw...

I had an 019T and did like it but maintenance is a real pain. Nothing is easy to get to on it. In talking with my dealer he said he dreaded working on them. I think I would hold out for a later model top handle saw.

The 019T may be the worst saw Stihl made, massive disassembly required to even get at the carburetor and parts are very hard to come by, IMO
