Stihl 041 electronic ignition question

Hi can you put a. Stihl 041 ave sem electronic ignition with the correct flywheel on a stihl 041 Bosch electronic ignition that went bad

About to try it out tonight. Need a av electronic throtel linkage though.

Probably need to gap the module at around .012-.015".

I dont have an extra rotor that i can cut up to check the gap. So i aligned it with the hash marks on the 041 with the hash marks on the sem electronic coil

I think you're referring to one that has the module under the flywheel? Yeah,I forgot some of the Stihls are like that. No need to check if that's the case, just bolt it on.

Yes it is. And it started right up. I found a throtel linkage. Now i need to put the other one together. That one is going to be a stihl 041 aveq. With a 25 inch bar on it.
