Stihl 044 Chainsaw powerhead only
Has aftermarket big bore kit so same motor as 046 (52mm)
Everything works except compression needs to get bumped up since squish is too big with stock base gasket, my compression tester isn't working right so i don't know exact number, but it still cuts, just don't expect to win any contests.
Motor is not scored
Will also include another aftermarket jug for regular 044 (50mm)

I bought locally with this already as it is, i did not buy and install the big bore kit and don't know the brand. passed my pressure/vac test.

Thanks for the bump, saw is pretty decent. From some pics and reviews, looks like the big bore kit is probably NWP, sold by Baileys, some people also had issues with lower compression when new, it seems to me like the bore is fine but the stroke is too long so too much squish with base gasket...i'm curious now if its the cylinder or piston...if nobody wants to buy as is i'll probably check the cylinder depth and piston height compared to oem and meteor to see what the issue is, unless someone here already has that figured out?

Sorry i don't have that one, I might be interested in selling my better 10mm old version Stihl 044, but i would be looking for $500 for it, its the older metal tag made in West Germany slant fin 10mm all OEM, previous owner sprayed on 50/1 to remind of gas/oil mix. I think serial number is around 122xxx or 123xxxx
