Stihl 441

Just wandering if anyone else has had problems with the oil pump on these saws? I bought it new an have had to replace it three times now the seem to just quit oiling, I have Two 046 stihl saws the oil pump appears to be the same with little or n issues. Thanks

Not that I am aware of I try my best to keep everything clean when I'm refilling . A stihl dealer told me they redesigned that engine and it tends to overheat the oil in the tank I don't know if that is the case or not

Honestly, that sounds very unlikely. I'm also not aware of any major re-design of the 441. The oil gets quite hot in all may cased saws.
