Not really sweet but when you get a call to cut up a few thousand lbs of it it smells sweet.

that is the best firewood it will keep you in heat in a couple of years well worth the wait

An oak tree that size is more than just a few thousand pounds green. Enjoy moving those monsters around.

The are a bear to move even with the cant hook, I split 4 rounds and filled my truck to the top,

My little woods is full of em just like that. I'm torn on weather to take out some of the larger ones to let some of the smaller ones grow on up, or just leave em. I'd get a lot of firewood out of just one tree. I've got a lot of property to cut on right next to mine (neighbors) so I don't "need" to thin out my woods, but I sometimes wonder if it would be healthy for it.
