I just acquired a Sears 917.351090. Serial 38123. "Sears Lightweight" on the filter cover. "Sportster" next to the recoil. It seems to at least need a carb cleaning, but perhaps a carb kit. It may be a long shot, but please send all info and documents about this machine. Thank you in advance!

Looks like the 917.351090 is made by Roper and is like the model C33231r. Check your inbox for a small Intertec Roper service manual. It's the only one I found. It came out of the 4th edition Intertec chainsaw service manual. It's not in the 3rd or 5th editions. Only the 4th edition( dated 1974).
