I dropped a tree the old fashion way with an axe and a rope just for the time in the woods and a good work out. We'll it fell on another tree. Tomorrow I'll be cutting them both down...I don't usually cut green trees cause i don't usually need to. But in this case that was a lot of work for nothing I'm gonna fire up the ms 290 that I have yet to use and see what I can do.
 
By the way, You DO NEVER LEAVE A HUNG UP TREE ! Gotta finish up the job. Stupid and careless! Just my 2c.
 
That I don't need for 2 more years. I have more than enough wood for next winter stacked next to the barn waiting to be split and a bunch of barn beams waiting to be cut but I just wanted to use some chain saws and drop some trees.
