I know tuliptrees have a tendancy to self-prune as they grow taller, but I've seen some specimens like the one attached with, low branches making the flowers easy to observe and enjoy. Is there anything a homeowner can do to encourage lower limbs as it matures? The sapling I plan to plant is also attached.

Thanks!
