I looked into one too. I ended up buying a zigzag and then a roperunner.
What turned me away from the unicender was the fact that it wears out so fast . Seems like a waste of money
I love my zigzag and roperunner though, best devices ever and way better than the old prussik pulley.
Imho I would just buy either a rope runner, zigzag or both.

No experience on the Unicender but I love my Rope Runner. Couldn't imagine anything being any better.
