Hi guys, just looking to find some info/knowledge on the size of the H-Jet on my 3120xp (2010, Non-Epa Aussie Model, 12K Black coil) Its a Walbro WG 10 , its got 1 and 20 clearly marked on the H-jet, but its a non removable (easily anyway) jet. The numbers on the outside of the carb are WG10-019. thanks for any help. cheers

I can't help you with that one. The 3120 I jetted had a removeable jet.

yeah must be the New way of making them tamper proof. lol. I'll have to grind a slot for the screwdriver, if i want to get it out for reaming ..guess I'll try and measure the hole to find the size (if no one knows the sizing of it??) looks pretty big tho, would have to be a 1-16 jet being Non-epa i would think? thanks brad.

No, not that ive noticed. it runs sweet and strong, i was just looking at doing a slight muffler mod, and opened up the carbie to check what jet was in there, if it was the smaller 1-12 jet i was gonna ream it out a bit

Contrary to what many think, a muffler mod doesn't always require richening the H. It's usually the L that requires the most adjustment. You are smart to be doing your homework first though. As long as you've got an L needle, I suspect you'll be fine.

yep there is L needle. Okay cool, that's why i opened up the carbie just to check what i had before i proceed any further, but yep your spot on mate with the L, Ill be giving that a touch to richen as necessary.

You're definately doing the right thing checking things out before proceeding. I would check the WOT RPMs before you do the mod, and then again after the mod. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Exactly! Higher air velocity = more fuel and a richer mixture. The L needs to be enriched because there is no accelerator pump and it is performing that function, and with better flow you'll need more fuel to accelerate.
