Whats the difference? besides kickback. Is one faster? I'm running a green label stihl and was wondering if I should switch for a faster cut.. Run a chisel chain already on a 362c. Please inform my ignorance! And if anyone wants to give me a source to read to learn the ins and outs of bars please do.

Green is laminated, yellow is solid and more rigid. Yellow has replaceable nose sprocket, green doesn't.

I'm curious if its worth the money to get one. Does it make cutting easier or faster? Any one else want to chime in?

Yellow labeled bars are solid stock vs. laminated green label bars. They have a bigger nose radius and are better for plunge/bore cuts but also have greater kickback potential. The ES bars wear much better than the E bars, and the sprockets and tips are much better quality.
