A ms200t is up to $1500 bucks on eBay. It's a new saw but why would it go for so much money? Collectors?

1) Saw is no longer made...
2) everybody that grew up making money with them, still wants one
3) 201t came out to a roaring thud and has a bad rep amongst the old guys in #2 (above)
4) chicks like shiny things....new saws are shiny....

Do yerself a favor...buy a new 201tc and forget about $1500 200ts

It sold for $1600. INSANE. if we only knew years ago, we could have stocked up on them and pretty much tripled our money. I guess one could still do that with other saws. It's just knowing which one will be in such demand in the future.

I couldn't even guess at the future value of anything! Who would have thought the 290 Stihl and the 610 McCulloch would have such success at holding their value? The 610 has since taken a decline but you can still get a good price for a 290 and especially a 390.
