I want to kill woodworms in rough maple lumber with heat. My Question: At what temperature will the worms die?

I have killed powder-post beetles in maple and walnut slabs by wrapping them in black visqueen and placing them out in the blazing sun, turn every few hours to raise the temperature to 140 degrees F for several hours; no more beetles. I don't know about your "woodworms", but my method might work. Give it a try and post your findings.
