Thread: Log lift clearance

For those adding a log lift to their splitter, make sure you check the clearance of the slide before welding and painting! I had mine all together just needed to add the expanded metal to create the shelf. at that point i noticed that their was no clearnce for the slide, arrgghhh. I got all the tabs broken off using a multitude of grinding wheels, cut off wheels and many words that cant be repeated here. Got it tacked up again but it sure doesnt look as nice as it did. I really need to replace tabs but at this point, im gonna see if they hold

You live and learn right.Ive done some screwed up thing all you do is fix it and move on.
