Any chance you could post some close-ups of the wood? Seems like at least two species in the initial picture. One of them could be black birch, which is also great stuff.
Nice trailer; I'd love to have a dump body.

Yup looks like silver maple to me ,but i also see a couple pieces of what I'm pretty sure is Sugar maple in that picture.
Smaller piece right in the middle of the trailor load i would bet is Sugar and one a bit lower looks like Sugar.
My boyvand his friend are doing a great job of getting it worked up.

Definitely not Maple of any kind. Silver is shiny skinned and sugar maple has more golden yellowy colour inside. Looks like some black birch. Be nice to see a leaf or two to confirm it for sure. Sometimes that's the only way to tell for sure. Maple is actually easy to tell from a close up look at the grain pattern inside. But you have to look at the grain when split lengthwise to see. Could possibly be Bitternut Hickory too.
Looks like it'll burn good not matter what species it is.
Nice haul.

Tough to tell much from the fuzzy picture but sure looks like two or more different things.
Same thing in the middle looks like sugar maple and on the ends silver maple but i think i see some butternut also mixed in.
Some decent pics sure would help.
Could be mockernut or bitternut hickories but my guess would be a maple.
Better pics now that I took a 1/2 day vacation on this beautiful day to make sawdust.

yep silver maple all the way!
Silver maple, guess the fresh cut made it look like sugar maple on a few pieces.
Silver maple is great wood, fast cure 90ish days, pretty decent btu and burns/lights easy.
A few pics of the pile after processing with my TW-6
