Not going to say anything about the picture quality. Nope. Not the backlighting. Nope.
You could have told us of other properties that might help us, like smell or density, for starters.
Given those limitations: norway maple. Might stick with that.

Looks like Ash because I got wood that just looked the tree in that first pic and it was premium grade Ash. It burns real nice after you season it.
