    Husqvarna 36 worth fixing

What do you guys think of the Husqvarna 36 and is this a saw worth fixing.

It will take the place of my old echo as my back up saw. My go to saw is a 455 rancher that is about 3 or 4 years old and runs great.

Sure, it's worth fixing.Looks like you have the whole saw.I would suggest if you are going to be cutting 150 cords of hickory and pecan you get yourself a couple more 455s, if you like them, or something along those lines. That's some pretty hard work for 2 saws.

Yeah i will get maybe a 372 to go along with my other two saws and keep going as i find more and more outlets for my firewood but for right now i need to replace my echo and don't really feel the need to buy a new or bigger saw right at this moment.

You can always try the swap meet sticky thread for parts. If you don't need many parts, just go brand new OEM from a dealer. Find the IPL for that saw, look up the real part number, then google that number. All sorts of online places carry parts.

Used, right now, in the classifieds here are a husky 44 looks to be a pretty good deal, and johnnie has a fresh build 365 that is also a good deal. Those would be a great two saw plan.

Just remember. There aint no such thing as a Husqvarna that aint worth fixing. Stihl, well, thats another story. But even some of them are worth fixing up to be a nice looking doorstop, or a decoy from the real saws in the other end of the shop.
