    Blower for stove

I have a mount on the back of my stove for a blower/fan, I'd like to mount one. My stove is fairly old and finding a factory fan is probably not going to happen has anyone else rig up some sort of blower? My stove is fairly close to my basement wall and I'm not sure that there's room to mount it directly on the stove, Can I run some pipe ducting to the mount on the back and keep the fan/blower away from the stove?

I don't know what your looking for exactly but Englander model ac-16 is close and looks like it will fit on a pipe adapter.
What is this chainsaw modification deal I keep hearing about?

    TJ-Bill,

First off you need too post the type stove(brand/model) or at least a pix. I have an old "King" heater stove which is exactly the same as an Ashley wood circulator. They look like this http://heating-and-cooling.hardwares...ve-219618.aspx and are made by several companys. I know the parts are interchangable too. In back of the stove there is a blower mount and again you can buy this type blower as an add on for about $189. Here's a few of the blower types.

Here's one about that may be about the right size. Check your mounting dimensions:

There are thousands of squirrel cage blowers around. Getting one to fit perfectly may be difficult. Be prepared to do some metal work.
