What company is that? 12 cords for $700.00 delivered is a good deal, but not likely without a long waiting list or for to long.

Who?!? and how far north will they deliver? $100/cord is cheap--it is going for $110 up here, if you can get it.

First off for that price, you'd better ask what kind of hardwood it is. Last one of them "bargain" loads I looked at dropped at a friends house was white birch, silver maple, and half rotten cherry.
The goin rate here 60 miles NW of you is $100-$120 for a log length cord of good hardwood, if you can get it! I would'nt bargain shop to long...It's gettin cold!

Hey I live near Binghamton and I got a load of logs from a company doing some clearing work for the State. Paid 800$ when a load usually costs 1000$ because he couldn't get the right amount of weight to sell it. I was just driving down a back road near our house, came to a crossroad and saw a logging truck go driving by, I tailed him till I could safely flag him down and asked him where he was getting it, found out who to call and they delivered it the next day. If I were you I would just look in the phone book for logging companies or foresting companies, this particualr company was out of Syracuse but they were selling the wood to a guy closer the Binghamton and he was the one who sold it to us. Anyhow hope that helps.

Dude, he's talking a full cord. I get $225 a cord here for wood and can't keep up with the amount I'm selling. That $100 is really like 3 of what I'm assuming you think is a cord... $30 a face cord is cheaper than you'll ever see it. Hell, I'd buy that from him and resell the same cord for $225. That's a good little profit, hehehehehehe...
