Thread: Secondary air

Hi All

I am busy to make a secondary combustion in my woodstove, I have room enough for it, be in mind that a good secondary combustion has blue purple fire not yellow like I see here someplace.

a little explaning here, 2 inch tubes has need total of 18 feet for good combustion not like here the short ones.

I will use plates as heat exchangers not tubes like I see somewhere here maybe someone nows where this plans of the picture can be found it has een top plate baffle but you need also one vertical on the back for extra preheat..

I saw it here, I am lookung for the source of this insert someone now
I not now the holes for example to give it a test but this pictures looks good.

baffle plates are much better then tubes, you need really hot pre air.
