Are there any incoming sales that anyone knows of? I am looking for a good 50cc saw... still. If I can save a hundred bucks of a 357/361/5100/2165, why not. Or are there some promos where i get a case, spare chains, whatever.

thanks
micky

I found an ms361 for $620 with a 20" bar. I have a friend that owns a landscape company and says the customer service at the place is top shelf also.

Good deal?

micky

Stihl's current suggested price is $619.95 with 20 inch b&c or similar to your quoted price. Good luck in your search.

You didn't find a deal. That saw lists for 599.95 in Va and that full list. I know the Va Santa, he lets those go for 550.00 most times if you've been a good boy all year...

The 361 goes for $579 with a 16 inch bar at my shop here in WI: but if you come in expecting me to drop the price even farther i won't. I've been known to let them go for $529 out the door.... Just don't come in demanding a deal and well be great pals:)

In Va we'll do 528.00 on that saw with a 16inch bar and chain you low baller,LOLOL

one of the perks of being an elite dealer is we get sale pricing year round, not just on the spring/fall promotion programs, I'd say the 361 is the easiest saw to sell, I get alot of guys come in already have their mind made up.

Yup your right, same here. You at level 6, if so good job man. Now back to the war, I'll go 527.95, you gonna match or give in???:):):):):):):)

Actually I did stock that saw but stopped fooling with it. Its a great show piece to sell other saws with but selling only one or two a year, its not worth stocking. The last one I sold I let go for 1495.00. Wasn't interested in making any money on it, just wanted it gone.

How ya like working in Stihl man?, sounds like your on the ball with them prices, you should be rolling them out the door..

we've got one on the shelf now, we sold three of them from jan 09 to march 09 and now this one has been here since then, i did notice that well be needing a new display board from stihl. We updated our dispalys to the newest style last fall I think it was, but so many people have tried to look at that saw and now the bottom shelf is all scratched and just looks like :censored: As far as working at a stihl dealership goes, it's great we sell alot of equipment, last year we moved over 250K of stihl product and as of Nov 08 to Nov 09 were up another 13% from this time last year, We don't have alot of competition around here since there isn's a husky dealer within 40 min drive, there are two echo dealers but were in stihl country. There are a few other stihl dealers within a 20 min drive but non even bother to drop to our pricing. In another month or two I have to go to Midwest STIHL to renew my gold certification for another 3 years...

Man I wish I could even get close to $509.00 for a 361. I would own it. Our local dealer is at $600.00 and has not budged in 3 or 4 weeks. I figured I could wear him down but I think he will sell out before he drops his price.

the best deal that I know I can offer (with out getting an earful ) is $529 with 16 inch bar, buy a case and get a free chain, maybe 50% off a gallon of bar oil as well to go with the sale, if I would be selling them at $509 I'd most likely be looking for a job.:) Just figured I better clear that up before I have 10 guy lined up at the counter on Monday morning to get the deal of the year...
