The saw is looking good bill. It outta be a good runner when it's done. What arethe specs on your desktop. I just built one recently myself...got 2k into it.

It is a AMD 1090t Phenom II x6 O/C stable at 3.64 2gigs of ddr3 O/C 1600mhz it has 2 64 gig SSD drives in RAID0 for the OS 2 500gig WD caviar black 7200rpm HDs for storage. 2 4870 1 gig DDR 5 video cards. The NB clock runs about 2700mhz that is correct no typo there via Everest It bench marked with 3d mark at 20500  I would like to get 2 5970x2 cards when the price comes down a touch.

Sounds like a pretty good setup. I used to O/C but it became a real pain at times...Not sure if I wanna try it again yet.

My system specs.
AMD Phenom II X4 965 (3.4ghz)
Asus Crosshare III Formula MB (Republic Of Gamers) Best board on market at the time
8 gig Patriot Viper DDR3 Ram (1600mhz)
2x Ati Radeon 5850's in Crossfire
2x WD VelociRaptor 300gig in Raid 0 (600gig)
1x Seagate Barracuda 320gig for storage
HP cd/dvd burner (SATA)
Antec Modular 850 Watt power supply
Antec Twelve Hundred case. 6x 120mm fans & 1x 200mm fan on top

Nice!

LOL it's like loud pipes....I got those to so my bases are covered. No back on topic!

I hate loud pipes (on wheelers) but I love neon and plexiglass I am surprised they do not use a fan on the north bridge chip on your board hard to come by a board with that now a days LOL. But back to the issue at hand I should get the handle and electronics on this pig this weekend. I am not sure I will ever run this saw just hang on to it or ebay the old girl, still undecided. But it is a fun project non the less.
