i just got these 3 saw tonight. i was searching craigslist and i found 3 saws that needed work.well long story short he just wanted 100.00 for all 3 of them.

One of them is a wacker chop saw that was made in west germany the second one is a homelite XL12 and the third one is a stihl 041 farm boss that needs a carb plate and a carb and air filter and a few odds and ends.

The wacker chop saw needed a new fuel line in side the tank. And the homelite just needed gas and carb cleaned. and the stihl 041 farmboss needs some more work then that to get running.

But the short story is the chop saw and homelite runs now. and i'll starting looking for the parts for the 041 farmboss.

But here are some pictures of the saws Enjoy

Here's the chop saw

take them to the car wash. :hmm3grin2orange:

I'm going to do that tomarrow to get them clean again

Was he storing them in the manure spreader?

Nope he had them in his barn for like 5 years or so

The "wacker" is a Dolmar rebadge, not sure which model. Your a better man than me for trying to resurrect that FB.

Thanks Joe the only thing the farm boss needs is a carb plate and carb i got the rest of it.but i'l going to tare it down and give them all a good degreaseing.

I applaud your enthusiasm! I've brought my fair share of saws back from the brink, but those are crazy nasty looking. You get the award. And you say the homie runs?

Yeah, post some before and after pics. Im always surprised how well they can clean up after years of neglect.

Yes it's runs like a top i just have to find a clutch cover and a bar nut and figure out why the clutch isn't releasing like it should.and i got the air filter cover and air filter for it as well

You're killing me with this. I thought I did good getting one incomplete Echo saw yesterday, and then you come along with a couple of incomplete saws for less money.

 sorry about that Saw Dr but congrats on the echo hope you get it running.

Does anyone Know what this wacker concrete saw is worth? the guy i bought it from said it was wroth 1500 to 1600 bucks running.but i really don't know what size it really is because i can't find no model number or anything on it.and i think he said it has a after market air filter system on it. EDIT: i can't find anything that looks nothing like it on the internet

Look up Dolmar 309 or Makita DPC 7001. That is a stock air filter system. I have two in the shop. Even a drunk fool on crack would not pay $1500 for that saw. In 100% running condition, good diamond blade, and looking good it is a $400-$500 machine tops.
