well they have not been coming in a lot lately. but yesterday two different folks had herd threw the grapevine that i liked to acquire saws. so they came in to my hands. pulls threw good . i'll look it over better tonite after it cools down. were these made by pioneer or pm? they look like them.
 
The mystery Mac I'm guessing is a 1-92 motor. But the decomp? It's stamped 1 92 on the bottom though. Very nice saws by the way, I'm glad you got them. :clap:

Rayonier was pretty famous for having some hotrod saws in-house. One of their bullbucks back in the day worked with my grandpa out of Philomath. They had some real knowledgeable mechanics back then who were all about turning the saws up. I wouldn't be surprised if that motor has had a lot of work internally. That 1690 is a nice one. I got a sweet 1690 myself this winter out of NZ.

That 1690 is one of the cleaner ones I've seen. A WD40 wipe-down and she'll really shine.

cool jj. i'll dig in to the mac here soon. tell me more about rayonier. i know that saw is a ##### to pull with out the decomp.
