This is the camp I worked out of 74-75. Camp Govey, Olympic National Forest near Shelton Wa.
Simpson Timber shut down Govey and Grisdale around 85.



I ran an almost identical to this Washington Tracloader Yarding and loading logs.

That Titan 100 has never seen wood. Came from the estate of a man that worked for Titan.

The 100 had serious design issues and they only made a few of them. Doubt you will ever see one like this anywhere.

This one looks like it had oil smoke from one jug and the other is clean so they may have tried to fire it and
by then they decided to scrap the whole line or idea of an inline twin.

Don't know. Looks like it could be. I seem to remember Marshall Trover telling me they had ignition and balance problems .

Looks like it could be with the offset of crank and jugs. If you have a chance or need to fog it se if you pull the rope and watch for any movement on other side engine im really curious about that saw

No. Lol. It was guy I worked with. He lived in that bus with his GF we were cutting in a Scots Pine plantation, the stuff was heavy to pile in 102" lengths with a pulp hook @50/crd.
I really didn't twig to it and went off on my own shortly after around 1984.

Those old buses made a good woods shack, portable and roomy. Figured that guy on the roof was a little shorter than Randy, hair a tad darker also...LOL

My son ran across a Jet star SL245 Can't seem to find any thing on them. No reference that I saw on acres. Any Info will be greatly appreciated.

That's a little fellow compared to the other one you have.

Talked to another guy tonite that has one and confirmed the opposite rotation. Will see if he can add some pics of his here.
