Recoil got hung up today and I let damn spring pop out trying clean the crude out[emoji20]Sounds like your ring was stuck and now it isn't. That picture of your piston shows a stuck top ring. Pull it back apart and remove the rings for a proper cleaning in the ring grooves. They'll stick again if you didn't.

Well it should be level with the carb body with the gasket off you cant just compensate by changing that if something else is wrong.. To answer your question If the Metering Lever height is set too high, it may create a rich condition, while a Metering Lever set too low may create a lean condition. Is yours level and does everything look in order? Post a pic of it while you are at it.For less fuel witch direction do you go with the metering lever

I always rewind them if not misshaped.Does any one rewind the starter springs or get a new one

I have tried my hands and a drill I can't seem to get itI always rewind them if not misshaped.
It is set with a walbro tool with new parts I haven't took it apart yet , what is missing on the air filter box and what does that screw part go toOP, you check the metering lever ?
It works good just not on one that has be in a housing this tightA drill?!
