I've got both models in question. Unless you NEED the 660, I'd just stick with the 441. It pulls a 28" with authority and rips with a 20". I bought my 660 for 3 reasons.

1. I wanted it.
2. I have some HUGE wood where we live.
3. I plan on using it to mill.

On wood <20" the 441 is faster. I've timed them both. It's also worlds smoother and easier on fuel.

yes Andy I would consider a 395 been very very happy with My Husqvarna 346xp especially if it performed like the 346

Right on. The 66s I had five to ten years ago vibrated like jack hammers. 395 much smoother, though a pound heavier, and a hair faster.

+1!... I am a city boy with literally one lousy tree on my 1/4th acre. I have an 021, a top handle stihl, a 372 and the mighty 880! I cant imagine what I would buy if I had actual wood to cut.. With that said, Its very cool to hear and hold a huge saw, but when you are actual cutting with one, I reach for the lightest thing that does the job. Consider modding the saw you got?

Do any of your Professionals swing a 80+ CC saw as your go to saw? I often see the pros in are using huge saws to limb tiny 3'' sticks. Does it get easier when you carry it every day, or do you all use a small and large saw?

I usually pick the right saw for the job,but every now and then the 394 becomes the do it all saw.
