    When is the right time to top cedar hedge?

    Just wondering because it is a evergreen and don't know much about the trimming times.

    Just wondering cuz a fellow tree cutter i went to school with says not in the winter. I need to trim off about 2feet of a 9ft hedge.

    Ms200t's, 372XP's, 395XP's,3120's, 288XP, 346XP, 257XP, BR600, Stihl drill, Stihl polesaw, GRCS, 2 R400 loaders, 14 foot dump trailer, Whisper Chipper, 1672 Rayco Stumper, 250 gallon fert. unit, 2001 D-Max chipped and equiped with Nathan P3 (5 gallon tank), 1994 F450 dump and THE WRAPTOR!

    well cut her tomorrow. i like to use pitch/sap to protect a large wound from sun scald and pathogens

    Sounds good I could use the cash. Rough winter man. I haven't been doin nothing but bag scratchin and I almost scratched it right off. Had to switch to a pull and twist method. It's workin just fine!
