    Christmas toy twist ties?

Why in gods name did these toy manufactures think they need to use 12 twist ties on a plastic fisher price dump truck? 12 ties and 20 minutes later my son lost interest in the toy.

Anyone else have twist tie wars this morning?

    Merry Christmas! Bill Jr

Been there, done that. I use a pair of Fiskars shop shears. Strong enough to cut through the wire and pointy enough to squeeze between the tie and the toy. We're having a transformer, lego, and GI Joe kind of day, although I did end up with four pair of channel lock pliers, all the same size. (Gotta give my kids credit for going out on their own to shop this year!)

We survived the first wave, but the in-laws are expected at 4. They always pick the toys in the biggest box, with the most little pieces, that require at least an hour of assembly time.

Keep smilin, and remind your kids that its not about the toys.

I kept all those, for when I really need to tie down something with some titanium strength. Hey what the best toy in your opinion that the crumb snatchers got? I like the Hulk VR3D video game. You put the helmet on over your head and eyes and play the 3D game inside. Was really neat, but after you play about 20 minutes and take the helmet off you can get some serious weird equalibrium. I also liked the 4x4 trucks with the single AA battery. We used to call em Stompers when I was a kid, now they are just 4x4s or soemthing. Love setting up the lego and brio town and having the monster truck drive through town crushing everthing~! Gotta go play.
