I am proud of what I see on this forum

I have only been a member but a few days now, but I have been looking, reading, watching...........

I see a brotherhood of folks who work their butts off to survive, but still have it in them to come to the aid of another when they need a helping hand.

I see folks living by the old world values of you do things right, and don't sell out those values.

I see guys set in their ways as to what equipment is the best, and nothing else exists, but still they take it in stride when the jesting and chides from others pokes fun at them.

I see a database of knowledge and advice from those who have been there and done that, and they freely share their experiences and know-how.

I see clowns who can make us snicker, giggle, or perhaps even chortle when we need a good laugh.

I see folks who come up with a point of view otherwise overlooked or forgotten, a fresh aspect is always a good thing to help analyze a situation.

When I joined up, I was looking forward to being an active part of this forum, and now I look forward even more to be a part of this group.

I'm proud to be a part of the brotherhood, and I hope I can always be here to do my part and hope I fit in. I'm sure I am loonier than some, but not as loony as others. There's a niche in there somewhere, I'm sure ....

Welcome to AS. May CAD soon infect you if it has not already.

You really dont see a brotherhood here. It just a bunch of guys that like to run saws and BS about doing it.
I don't suffer from CAD. I enjoy every minute of that nasty disease.

Good folks here, that's for sure. A few necks I'd ring, but not bad at all. I've learned to be more respectful of people's proffesion, views, and lives here the last year. Many of us like me, are just very passionate about what we do, and aren't bashful about it.

LOL, wait, worse than I think?

I know there are good people there, I actually have some family there too, which is one reason I know how bad it is.

So, is it true that the bread trucks have tailgunners?

Don't know - every time I end up inside the beltway I am too busy dodging insane drivers and trying to find my way out to be able to inventory the other vehicles PPE

Yep, good people here and most will go out of there way to help another member.
I came here for advise and kept coming back. It's more than a forum to me, more like community.
