Had a specialty of mine. Teriyaki tenderloin on the grill with grilled squash, mushrooms and onions. Rice a roni on the side. I love that brocolli cheddar stuff.
How about lunch? Was actually supposed to be last night's dinner but my schedule got off.
Local beef London Broil I marinated (olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon juice, basil, parsley, and steak seasoning) and the first asparagus of the season grilled.
The asparagus is SPECTACULAR. Truly the best I have ever had, out of my garden or not. Normally I can only eat a limited amount of it, but this stuff the taste is not overwhelming like it usually is.
If you don't count my labor over the years in the garden, that might be a $2.75 meal guessing at the propane, garden manure, etc. And folks say they can't afford to eat well and only fast food is affordable?![]()

Last night was a steelhead filet that I smoked wif some smashed taters that had sauteed garlic and some chives plus half an avocado.
The fish came out AWESOME. The taters were just as awesome too.

Nothing wrong with that...I ended up grabbing a grinder for dinner last night.I'm too tired to cook. Pizza it is.
Now, for the Arborsite Foodies I thought this was an interesting article -- after all once you go black you never go...oh wait they're talking about a different kind of dark meat:

I never learned how to cook. Something outside on the grille usually beef of some kind, baked patatoes, corn on the cob etc. Humburgers yesterday, may do some beef ribs today. I've just been using hickory cause its free. May pick up some charcoal today when I go to wally world.
Hickory seems to work and I suppose oak would too. I have a small garden but patatoes is the only thing ready now. Wifes disabled so if we eat a cooked meal I have to stumble my way tru it.
