    What are cookies?

    I tried reading a post and it tells me i need a password so i put in the password and it says i need cookies ? What gives?

    it's a tiny piece of information that your web browser can store on your computer. typically it's a name/value pair that identifies a piece of information for subsequent pages or visits.

    google "enable cookies in x" where x is the name of the browser you use.
