Hey chow... yes, you can blame the prices on the EPA for sure. Also blame them for the ethanol. And several other reasons.

I still think the EPA needs to be shut down. Remove all of their bs laws except for a select few.

Now you can be sure you're the one with the comprehension problem. Trust me.
I was going to let this slide but I just don't deal with condescending #######s that aren't half as smart as they think they are.

Want you didn't seem to comprehend is you were being made fun of. But, having a sense of humor may be difficult from where your head seems to be positioned.

I'm sure you are a nice guy and maybe just having a bad day but you come across as a real douche.

Like what has been said many many times here on AS
Once you run a modified saw you'll never go back to a stock chain saw ever again !

When have you ran a 545 and 550 back to back or even on different days
or you just going by what you assume or read ?

Those that declare that they (029/290) won't hold up bc of the lack of pro design
are merely ill-informed or are ignorant.

It doen't look good to anyone else I guess, except maybe for a few "brand fans".

If you can't figure out 5th grade math, certainly your capacity to make fun of anybody is in question. Glad I could put your head where it belongs too. Consider it a favor.

If you look back a couple posts you will notice you were the one to abandon the topic of discussion. Apparently, you thought it was more productive for you to cast insults.

    Don't be hurt.

Yep. They want it to destroy all of our engines. And force us to buy vehicles 2007 and newer.

It's all part of a plan. Somebody with an 'S' in his name has a lot to do with it. As well as some guy with a 'B' in his name. Etc. etc. etc.

And how come such regulations would only impact east coast refineries? Is it because other regions already completed the required upgrades?

There can be state differences (which contribute to the different gas blends needed), but "EPA" itself is Federal and AFAIK the rules are pretty consistent nationwide. State environmental rules may vary more to meet local conditions.

At least, if not more, responsible for gas prices on the Federal regulators side in addition to the EPA has been the Department of Justice's Antitrust Division that's been asleep at the wheel for over twenty years in failing to enforce pro-competition regulations. "Merge and close refineries and call it efficency? Sure, we don't see a problem with that!"

    In the news today:

EPA administrator in the Region 6 Dallas office apologizes for comparing the EPA's policy to that of the Romans crucifing those they conquered to instill fear and compliance

    Wow. Who'd a thunk?

The video has been on Youtube for a couple years. I am reminded of your reference to the "right phrase".
