I agree it's a total embrace green technology or die but you can't help but wonder when humans will populate to the point of earth not being able to support us. Factor in technology and it may never happen. This article got me thinking that's all.

Economic, societal and political collapse will occur sooner, the wars over resources will curb the population.

Having said that I feel that safety starts with the proper mindset and is followed closely, very closely, by the proper skillset. I think there is a tendency to offset poor skills by buying more safety gear."

I didn't read the article, but I believe the economic collapse will happen a lot sooner - perhaps within a year. We shall see.

Its people like you who are going to get yourself killed. Those who have the food have weapons too.

When SHTF and someone comes after my food and water with force I will have no mercy on them.

People like that are classified in the same realm as the low life looters from Katrina.

It's people who talk like that who give us responsible gun owners a bad name.

I've got an idea. Let's send the survivorist/militia wannabes to a deserted island somewhere. They can take all the ammo and stuff they want. Then they can get their jollies from killing each other. No TV cameras, no contact. Just a you want it, you got it situation. The rest of us can live our normal lives.

Who think anyone who owns a gun is looking to kill someone.

It is something to joke about when liberals like this who are looking for any excuse to take our rights away.

I couldn't agree more. My guns have only shot paper and I've never been hunting. It's a hobby I enjoy doing in the summer. Check your news and tell me how many " gun nuts " kill people. Heck guns sold illegally by our government and put in the hands of drug lords have killed more people then mine so worry about them and not me.
