Back in the late 90's there was a big push for people to get more involved with their families and exercise. What better way than three legged racing? Well, as with any form of racing, friendly wagers quickly become involved. When the International 3 Legged Racing League was formed they were counting on the good natured family reunions and fairs to be the main venues. In the early days of I3LRL there simply weren't enough officials to go around. This is were I came in.

The newly formed I3LRL didn't finalize their rulebook before sanctioning events. This left some very big loopholes in the rules, which I took advantage of. The rules just said that you had to tie one person's leg to another person's leg. They didn't specify that the legs had to be "real" or that they had to be attached or that the owner of said leg had to be present at the event. Using these loopholes I made quite a few dollars by traveling the country hustling 3 legged races.

I'd show up and pick a partner out of the crowd, usually the least athletic person I could find and start making wagers. We would obviously lose the first couple of races. The locals would get pretty cocky and that's when the real money started being thrown around. I would then bet the farm on the last race but stipulate that I got to pick a new partner per the official I3LRL rules.

I would take my mom's old prosthesis (she didn't use it much once she got the new one with the rollerskate on the bottom) and strap it onto the side of one of my legs. The locals would be pissed but, per the rules, there was nothing they could do about it. We'd run and I would take my money and move on to the next town. It took a while for the I3LRL to catch up with me but, once they did they dropped the hammer.

They said I had knowingly exploited the rules in an immoral fashion. I said I didn't understand what was written and had used my interpretation skills to draw some conclusions. I directed them to some posts on AS that I had decoded from Tennesseese and they tested those posts for English content. They found almost no discernible English in them so, they banned me for translation violations.
I think if you compete under a false name for a while, then use another one, then a cousins, and claim Grandpa died and that it wasn't your leg, it was mom's and she decided to sell it even though it was your dream leg, and then buy a sponsorship, you could shoot the other competitors and then ask if anyone had new bullets as the ones you used are NLA at the 7-11 you wi-fi at. i can hear "you is the champeons' alreddy.
Cut all day-then we'll refuel If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

To believe all men honest would be folly. To believe none so is something worse. -John Quincy Adams
