    Stolen Saws

I think i got some leads on some stihls and husky saws that might be stolen. Well he came to me and said he got 5 or 6 saws that he will sale for 75.00 and under depends on which ones i'm wanting.

It's just something telling me that something is not right at all about these saws.

So i want to come on here and see if any has been stolen in the last couple of months around Knox county Tennessee. he told me one of the stihls has a bar about 3 to 4 foot long and looks like it hasn't been used much.

So please mods leave this topic in here please maybe these saws belong to some one on here or something. I'll be searching Craigslist too in case someone has posted something on there.

What was his story? What did he say about having so many good saws, then for cheap? A big stihl with a three or four foot bar for 75 bucks..I don't think so. Sounds fishy, I agree. Call your local sheriffs, see if anyone reported stolen saws lately?

He said he needs the money to go see his Mother that is in the Hospital down in Florida.

that's what I'm thinking Zogger I've been texting my Friend that is a cop with Knox county police department and he told me to take pictures of the Serial numbers on the saws and text them to him and he see if they have been stolen or not.

So i will find out something this Friday then if I think they are stolen then I'll buy the whole lot and then tell my friend to call the rightful owners to come and get them. Then call the local police so they can come and bust his but for them.

Nothing worse than a low life theif! And then to make it worse they sell good hard earned stuff for pennies in the dollar! Had an ex employee of mine that stole a 3month old Toro zero turn mower,a ms441 mag. and a 10ft trailer from me. I know it was him but I couldn't prove it so he never got charged.....either way I got my stuff replaced and he got 5 burglarycharges against him a couple months after that. Apparently he picked up a bad expensive habit and let it get the best of him oh well, he will have the next ten years in TDC to think about it.... I can't stand a dishonest person especially one who will be nice to your face then stab u when u turn around! He was makin good money with me too.... It's a Damn shame! Anyways, I hope u find the rightful owner of the saws good luck

Yeah that's what gave me the clue that something was not right. If he knew anything about the chainsaws he would knew what size bar and chain and everything about them.

Any running big stihl with a big bar..a pawnshop, even the cheapest meanest shop, would give more than 75 smackers. That tells me he surely doesn't want to take them to a pawnshop.

One other thought..there might not be any saws at all. Watch out if you go to meet him, it might be a scam to rob you. From what I have read, that is a common CL scam.

Yeah that's what i was thinking if they was his and they run good why would he sell them for 75.00 bucks and under for.

And trust me i got my carry permit and i got a .357 magnum that i carry with me so if he tries anything he will end up full a holes fast.

When i go over there to see the saws i will always have someone else with me and he will have my back.

Yea dude I'd be careful. You never know what people are willing to do for cash these days. I'd definetly take some heat and a bud with me.

So you are going to buy the saws and then inform the police about them? Thats what I'd do. Then you can just keep them if it turns out they're legit.

Yeah I'm going to buy the ones i like and then if they come back legit then i will keep them.

But I'm going to take one of my brothers and my buddy with me for back up and then the .357 mag just in case it goes south for the border LOL.

I just hope they are not stolen but if they are then I'll be glad to give them back to the rightful owners. Then contact the local Police and let them know about him.

I always hated a low life thief they are lower then scum in the ocean.

    This should be interesting.
Never underestimate the power of the written word. Spelling is important, but poor sentence structure and bad puncuation are what can really come back to bite you on the ass.

I will take the "Pullon," "green brick," and "Crapsman" chainsaws that you don't want.

Human trash comes in all colors, including white.

I'm not sure how things work down south but up here the police would ticket me for buying stolen goods.
