    I bet that state taxes have a little to do with your gas prices being high.

    when i lived in grand lake i was paying $4.25/gal for regular

    Yeah in august it was high 3's. Mountains are always higher. Never over 4.

    Gasoline just dropped another dime here. Current price is $1.55/gal. Projected price is $1.50 for next week. Missouri is already below that due to lower state and local taxes.

    Don't worry, it'll be back to at least $3 in time for Memorial Day.

    Actually, many could get using a lot less fuel. Avoid filling up whenever possible - buy only what you need for a couple days. The more fuel in the tank, the more likely you are to use it and the sooner the gas stations have to order more, creating a higher demand and increasing the price.
