Getting the women to do what?LOL
You probably speak with a French accent anyway--which the ladies can't resist right?
We high-lead logged with a Link Belt 98 lattice boom... The mainline was controlled with a foot brake. The operators right calf was huge from pushing that brake all day! LOL
ED*L... Nice log arch bro!! Well done!![]()
Gink... Nice looking work dude... I like the fixtures you threw together to weld that truck exhaust!.. Very intuitive. And the bike stuff is awesome!
How did you form the sides of your gas tank?.. Shot bag and peen?
Nope, not tired of your pictures at all!.. Keep posting!![]()
Here's a chopper I did for one of the guys that owns Tippman paintball guns.
I have more pics of it finished in tin form but none of it finished in paint, I guess thats how it goes![]()
Here's my old man doing what he did best, lead work!! Old time body man.

Well sorta, Started out with a flat piece and started the general shape with a hammer and sand bag, than as the forming got to be more near what I wanted, it went to the English wheel and planishing hammer. It was the first tank I ever built from scratch. What a bit*h....

There's a local guy here that builds all that is custom... He made his own planishing hammer and English wheel... I tell ya, that tin work is an art in it's own right... I don't have any time with a planishing hammer or English wheel... Maybe someday though?
Your work looks real tight bro!![]()
Yeah, all the tools were home made too. A buddy built a English wheel and planishing hammer from an old CP air riveter for teh old hot rivets. Clay Cook uses the same type of setup. I live in the land of classic cars. Auburn,Cords and Duesenburgs there isn't a shortage of panel beaters around here!!
Infact in teh 7th picture down in post 71 where i"m holding up the piece fo the seat area you can see the planishing hammer in the back ground.
