    John, I know nothing about this, but since you axed. Baileys sells a competition axe they say wins a lot of comps. Made by Tuatahi, the axe head is $270.

    some stuf about axes

    ya im a chopper from australia and ya the axes i use are tautahies manily and i have a k-steel and a cople of hytests and jack otool the other brands i know of are keech just did one of them up for a mate um osborn witch cut prity good langdon aussie speed plust there is a cople of othere i know some of the older chooper use plumbs kellys and a cople of others it just depends on the shape and size of the axe and the steel in it

    The guys I have seen use Tuatahi's, but then they are made down these ways.
