ok, so im gonna try my skills at making a bikesaw. i just aquired a cr250 engine, and always wanted to build one so im gonna give it a shot. ive done alot of research on this subject, but really didnt find alot of information on where exactly to cut the cases? also about carb setup. i know that im gonna try and have a twin carb set up with two smaller carbs instead of just one big one. but i was just curious if anyone knew where to cut off the transmission at? any and all information would be appreciated.

you only need the crank case flywheel side and part of the drive side intact. for your first time cutting one do it in small chunks and take your time. I would go with a single carb as it will make tuning way easier to accomplish.

Here you go!

Ok. I studied that thread. And nowhere in there does it show an oiler? Maybe I missed it but do y'all have a picture of that? And the tank?

Here's a picture of a billet oil tank on the rightside top handle. I put them on the leftside now, so you have a clear view of your bar and chain while cutting. This is also a gravity feed system with a pitcock for opening and closing. Some use the cylinder water jackets for a tank, and some use pressure from the pipe to feed the oil also. I've tried both and like the tank and gravity feed system the best.
