Well we are ready to start making these sprockets. I posted a few videos on youtube running a 090G with a 2 foot bar in some red maple to see it with one of these new .404 sprockets in action. We also took a short video of the saw with it's 60" bar and .404 chain on it. Below are links to some of the sprocket pictures and a few of the videos if your interested in ordering sprockets for your 090G just let me know. ;)

Over 80 hours we into the development of these gears. We are very happy with the results.

Very nice work! Everyone whines about not being able to find them. Now they have the solution and a very good one at that.:clap:

I looked for a long time and can say there are none to be found so this was the only thing I could think of... I can tell you this these are very complicated sprockets to duplicate, a lot of machine work goes into making them and then there is the hardening process. I'm very happy with the way they turned out. And I'm real thankful that BillG left me borrow a brand new old stock sprocket to use as a model for this project.

Could use one or two!

Hi,

Are these sprokets available still?

I could use 2 or 3. 1 for use, 2 or 3 for backups!

Let me know,
Thanks!
Tom

Just letting folks know that these sprockets are currently being made.

Production is based on request.

Here are some pics of the finished product.

I guess my ole original ones were worth using as a copy.

Bill

Well, I can tell ya I appreciate the end result for sure. I should add here that because Bill enlightened me as to the existance of 090G's with 137cc top ends, it took me a lot longer to track one down that would make me happy. I guess ignorance would have netted me a regular one sooner, but then finding out AFTER getting a standard one might sting worse.
