Noodle Vid

gotta lay the bar in flat with the log to make noodles instead of chips. The way you did it is actually how I prefer to quarter big rounds because it doesn't clog #### up

That saw sure runs well. Those Dolmars really work well for such an ugly saw!

She seems to cut good.Can't wait till it's broken in and a good file job done on the chain.

I knew they cut good,I used a few over across the river there in cheesehead land before.It stopped raining for a bit so I tried doing the noodle thing with the saw flat on the wood and it workedjust a small angle and no noodles.

Yeah lay the bar perfectly flat on the log for the whole cut and you will have noodles. Don't tilt the saw forwards or backwards. The bar has to be parallel to the log.

I had the 5100 out today doing a little cleanup, but the $%^& rain drove me inside. I've heard you can cut in the rain, but I try not to test the theory!
