Dolmar 341 first build
This is my first proper build, I've done a couple of drill through the muffler type muff mods and a fair bit of saw tuning and repair. Bought this 341 for £20, wouldn't run. Bad fuel line. Snipped the bad bit out and bodged it back together. It ran well then. Next, muff mod. I'll let the pics... -
Someone please tell me I didn't burn a piston
That's really all I want to hear :) Short story: Opened up the exhaust port to about twice what the stock hole was. Then tried to retune the carb. Low adjustments went fine. But then while doing the high adjustments, the saw shut off with no explanation. Longer story: Decided I waned to get...- The Abominable Snowman

Re-assembly of Husqvarna 50 (51/55) need timing and muff mod advice
Since before Easter I've been working on my Papaws late 80's model 50 Husky. I'm a pretty decent engine mechanic...but 2-strokes turned out to be more than I bargained for haha. Anyway, the saw had a ruined piston and cylinder, had them off in less than 20 minutes. 10 minutes and $23 on eBay...- thefarmboy21
