stihl 088

Hey all, I purchased a Stihl 088 "as is" for milling at an auction house, I got a good deal on it, it starts right up, but it makes a humming noise when idling...I'm concerned that it could be sucking air... the piston looks to be score free. Could it also be the flywheel rubbing? Thanks.

That's really all I want to hear :) Short story: Opened up the exhaust port to about twice what the stock hole was. Then tried to retune the carb. Low adjustments went fine. But then while doing the high adjustments, the saw shut off with no explanation. Longer story: Decided I waned to get...
