My father-inlaws 029 was dumped in my garage as a basket case. Nice little rainy day project. What all can be done with this one??? Bigger jug? All help greatly appreciated. :cheers:

ms310 or ms390 jug ( actually top half of engine) drops in.

also you can find the complete ( modular) engines on ebay for a great price.

As Ozark said, the 390 p&c will fit and is a nice upgrade. Just check the saw out and see if it even needs a p&c. If you can save that, a muffler mod on the stock 029 p&c will be fine, then you can look for a pro saw to really mod.

Thanks for all the quick replies. Ill keep my eye out for an 039 P/S, not as easy to find a s the 029. I just wanted this saw to be good middleweight. Thanks!:clap:
