Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I'm actually a furniture maker and am getting into chopping milling and drying my own timber.
I have an 075 which I run on a mill. The other day the air filter broke and got sucked into the carb mid cut along with some wood dust and chips. After a full strip down I've found the piston and cylinder are knackered. It seems to however cost a small fortune to get these in the uk but I have seen on the us sites that the piston and cylinder kit for the ts760 fits the 075 and 076. These are easily acceptable in the uk but none that I can find state that it will also fit my 075.
Anyone have any idea if these are the same and if I can use one on my 075?
I do have an 076 to restore as well so worst case I could strip it for those parts but before I do I thought I best find out if the TS760 ones fit as the 076 will make a nice saw once done.
