So I picked this 372 from a buddy. Said it only needed a clutch, it barely starts, runs only at wfo.
This is what it had as a "muffler"
Pistons broke 😅
What would y'all do?

Pull the jug and get a look at whether you want a piston and cylinder kit or just a piston.
The oem kits are fairly cheap ( under 200.00), Meteor kits are nice quality too.
Just rinse out the crankcase real good before ordering parts and replace the bearings and seals.
That'll put you back in business for about 300.00$ and you'll have a like new 372!
The aftermarket options would put you under 150.00$ , but their quality isn't consistent.
